This one practically posed for the canvas — full of attitude, angles, and unapologetic elegance. Irises might look delicate, but don’t be fooled. They’ve got presence. I used to be intimidated by all those unpredictable petals. But something about this painting gave me permission to stop fussing and just paint. And now? I’m hooked. Expect more iris moments. They’re far too fun not to revisit.
