One of the things I love most is the California climate because the weather really isn’t a factor when it comes to outside activities…like sailing in the San Francisco Bay!
San Francisco is a fun city to get out and walk around. In fact, when we visit we seldom use our car.
I think walking really allows you to be part of the city and enjoy the everyday atmosphere. And, another way to enjoy San Francisco is to get out on the water.
Since the bay is such a big part of the San Francisco culture, you really need to experience sailing once (that is, as long as you are not someone who’s prone to motion sickness, then I do not recommend it).
You will see sights from a completely different view. Just imagine viewing the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, or Alcatraz from an angle that’s only accessible from the water. That will make for a special memory, won’t it?
Activities like sailing in the San Francisco Bay and experiencing the sites in a different way than most visitors is special. These are the types of activities we like to share with out-of-town family and friends. These memories are the inspiration for my Bring California Home collection.
