There are a lot of things I love about having my own business and one of the things I love best is being able to make decisions without a committee having to meet or having to move mountains to get something done. I decide and then take action. For instance, I met a lovely lady on Instagram, Sara, and she loved The Essential Colors Neckerchiefs however, she wanted to wear them on an ivory purse. Since the palette has white in it, I didn’t think it would look right. So, I offered to show her a couple of The Essential Colors Neckerchiefs variations with black, navy, pink, and ivory…
Essential Colors Neckerchiefs Variations: Twill vs Georgette
The Essential Colors Neckerchiefs in my shop are made from silk twill. If you’re not familiar with silk twill it’s opaque has a luxurious feel. The silk Georgette version which is also luxurious but, it’s sheer. And, because of the way it’s woven, whites in silk Georgette sometimes aren’t as crisp, they are more creamy.
The white in the pattern stands out more in The Essential Classic Neckerchief but, on silk Georgette, below, it’s more creamy.
I created a mock up of a solid pink version of The Essential Leopard Neckerchief.
And another mock up of The Essential Classic Neckerchief with ivory instead of white.
